The Patli Darul Ulum Madrasha was established 16th February 1971 by Moulana Asgor Hussain with the support of local people.

Patli Darul Ulum Madrasha is a permanent project of the Patli community. The Madrasha is a charitable one; no money is charged to the students. From its foundation, the Patli Darul Ulum Madrasha project has been fully supported by Patli residents; Patli people in the UK and other Muslim brothers and sisters.

A number of these students have gone on to become a Moulana and even Mufthi and are now teaching many new students in all age ranges in Bangladesh and the United Kingdom.
